Pensione Popolo - Montreal

Pension Popolo Review. The location is fantastic, situated near great restaurants on St-Laurent and Laurier Street, as well as numerous attractions and convenience stores. the room was clean and comfortable, featuring a cozy couch and shared bath facilities.

Marvellous and stunning position was an added bonus. The entire staff were excellent and superfriendly.

We greatly enjoyed the hotel, it was quirky and lovely and had excellent location adjacent to restaurants and cafes on Boulevard Saint Laurent and Saint Denis, and the Mont Royal metro. The staff was very helpful and excellent with local information. The check in was easy and the atmosphere was quiet throughout the property. Also, free Wi-Fi throughout the property was really convenient. The stay was absolutely lovely.

The hotel's location is fantastic, situated right by Boulevard Saint Laurent and Saint Denis, with easy access to the Mont Royal metro stop and a variety of restaurants and cafes. I received an upgrade to a well-laid-out and quiet guest room, which was a great value. the staff was incredibly accommodating, and the food was delicious.

I like the quaint quality of the hotel; with only 4 rooms it is unlikely you will be disturbed by other guests. The hotel staff is always very helpful as well.

Wish there was a sink in the shared bathroom (there is one in the shared shower).

We love the neighbourhood around the hotel

They didn't change our sheets, there was no soap for the shower, we got two cups for two days and no one brought us fresh sheets/towels/mugs on the second day.

I had a fantastic stay at Pensione Popolo for the price. the staff was amazing and had a great personal attitude. the setting is stunning, located conveniently near shopping areas, restaurants, and various sights.

Good location,cleaneness, good price.

We couldn't sleep till 3am because of the pub visitors downstairs.

The queen room was cosy and offered great value, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. It boasts an incredible location close to bars, restaurants, and cafes on Boulevard Saint Laurent and Saint Denis, as well as being near a concert venue. the Plateau Mont Royal district is definitely worth a visit!

The room was quite nice, but the noise was a huge distraction - the club downstairs had people talking loudly until all hours. Other than that it was fine

It was at least clean...

When we arrived, there was anyone to welcome us. We came into the bar besides the building where an unfriendly waitress gave us an enveloppe that was ready for us with key and code's room (that did not work at all...) We entered into a mouldy corridor, crossed an industrial kitchen before entering into our room. Beds are not comfortable and we could feel springs' mattress.

Great location near restaurants and cafes on Saint Laurent and Saint Denis. Not-for-profit restaurant nearby called Robin des Bois is worth a visit. Close to Mount Royal and Mont-Royal metro stop. Clean, comfortable rooms with a kitchen and utensils. a perfect spot for young travelers to explore the city. 👍

Checking in was a little awkward, esp. because there were no instructions as to where to do that!

It was exactly what we needed - exceptionally clean and perfectly located with tons of room - we rented the apartment and it was perfect!
